Margin Call

Margin CallWell, we will be screening the 2nd episode of “Courage, New Hampshire” tonight and I took a little insomnia time last night to watch J.C. Chandor’s financial suspense film, Margin Call.

On the Bay

We shot our first “show between shows” on Saturday here at Riley’s Farm in Oak Glen, California.   It will be a chance for our audience to meet the modern incarnations of some of our period people — Nathan Kershaw (“Bob Wheedle”) and Lorraine Pope (“Molly Pine.”)

My sense is that a good interview show should be something like one of those long, wandering conversations you have with good friends over a glass of wine at an extended dinner party — a cordial arm-wrestle with the truth.   Continue Reading »
